Interrupted Melody (1955) follows the inspiring journey of Marjorie Lawrence (Eleanor Parker), an Australian woman who embarks on a thrilling life filled with excitement and success after moving to Paris to pursue her vocal studies. Her remarkable talent propels her to instant fame following her triumphant debut at the Paris Opera. However, her life takes a tragic turn when she is diagnosed with infantile paralysis, leading to her confinement to a wheelchair. Despite the despair, Marjorie finds solace and strength through the unwavering love and support of her husband, Dr. Tim King (Glenn Ford). Together, they forge a new path as Marjorie begins a meaningful career by performing for servicemen who, like her, are confined to wheelchairs.
