Imperfect High (TV) (2021) follows the journey of Hanna Brooks (Sioux), a newcomer navigating the complexities of Lakewood High School, a place still reeling from a tragic drug overdose that occurred a few years prior. Hanna grapples with an anxiety disorder, making her transition to a new school particularly challenging. As she attempts to integrate with the popular crowd, she finds herself torn between two very different boys: a rebellious yet kind-hearted bad boy and a charming, wealthy classmate with hidden depths. Her entanglements with these two boys lead her into a perilous situation, prompting her mother, Deborah (Shepherd), to intervene and protect her from the escalating dangers.
