Werewolf of London (1935) follows the journey of Dr. Wilfred Glendon, a dedicated botanist who ventures into the Himalayas to discover the elusive marifisa lupina lumina, a unique orchid that only blossoms under the moonlight. During his expedition, he encounters a wolf-like creature that severely injures his arm. Upon returning to England, Dr. Glendon crosses paths with Dr. Yogami, who urges him to hand over a clipping of the marifisa, the sole known remedy for lycanthropy. As the moon ascends, Dr. Glendon undergoes a terrifying transformation into a werewolf, wreaking havoc on the streets of London and posing a grave threat to its inhabitants.
