The Mark of Zorro (1920) unfolds in the picturesque setting of old Spanish California, where a tyrannical colonial government faces resistance from the enigmatic Zorro. This masked hero, known for his swift swordplay and agile wit, leaves his distinctive mark on the faces of wrongdoers. Concurrently, the alluring Lolita finds herself pursued by the nefarious Captain Ramon and the wealthy but delicate Don Diego, who are unaware that they are both vying for the affection of the same woman. Zorro, who remains elusive and never appears in the same place as Don Diego, continues to outmaneuver his pursuers.
