Memoir of a Snail (2024) unfolds in the backdrop of 1970s Australia, where the life of Grace is marked by a series of misfortunes and losses. Following the tragic death of their mother during childbirth, Grace and her twin brother, Gilbert, are nurtured by their father, Percy, a former juggler now confined to a wheelchair and battling alcoholism. Despite the challenges, their lives are filled with love. However, tragedy strikes again when Percy passes away peacefully in his sleep.
