O Amor é Lindo ... Porque Sim! (2016) follows the journey of Amélia, a young woman from Lisbon who faces a double blow on her anniversary when her boyfriend leaves her and she loses her job at a hotdog stand. Living with her mother, who supplements their income through fortune-telling, and her unemployed actress sister, Amélia's life seems to be spiraling out of control. However, a chance encounter sets her on a new path. Amélia secures a position at a trendy tavern, where her boss overhears her singing, leading to a series of unexpected events that could change her life forever.
