Companeros (1970) follows the story of a cunning arms dealer, Yodlaf Peterson, who is determined to secure a deal with the guerrilla leader Mongo. However, the funds required for the transaction are secured in a bank vault, and only Professor Xantos, who is currently detained by the Americans, knows the combination. Yodlaf agrees to rescue Xantos, with the reluctant guerrilla Basco as his companion. Meanwhile, John 'The Wooden Hand,' a former business associate of Yodlaf's, has his own plans that could disrupt their mission.
