Homeward Bound II: Lost in San Francisco (1996) follows the thrilling escapades of Shadow, Sassy, and Chance as they find themselves separated from their family during a trip to Canada. The trio, now residing in San Francisco, inadvertently escape from the airport's cargo area while being prepared for their journey. Stranded in the bustling city, the pets encounter a variety of challenges, including a group of tough, stray dogs and a gang of rebellious canines who have formed their own pack. Meanwhile, a menacing "Blood Red Van" driven by inept dog catchers is on their trail. Along the way, Chance finds unexpected romance when he meets a charming female dog, adding a touch of warmth to their perilous adventure.
