The Truth About Alex (TV) (1986) follows the story of Brad Stevens and Alex Prager, inseparable best friends and prominent figures in their high school, both excelling on the football team. Brad is on the verge of being nominated to West Point, while Alex, a gifted pianist, hopes his athletic prowess will secure him a university scholarship. Their world is abruptly shaken when Alex confesses to Brad that he is gay, leading to a series of challenges and revelations that test their friendship and their futures.
