The story revolves around Martin Quesada, a former Formula One driver who has taken over the family business. Despite his success, Martin feels a profound emptiness following the loss of his parents and wife. His current girlfriend, Constanza, and his cousins, Miguel and Debi, fail to fill this void. Upon returning from an extended period abroad, Martin encounters a young woman who completely disrupts his world. This woman is Esperanza Muñoz, nicknamed "La Monita," a boxer who is seeking employment due to a hand injury. Living with her long-term boyfriend Quique and his mother Nieves in a boarding house, Monita dreams of a successful boxing career. Their encounter has a profound impact on both of them. Martin offers Monita a job, setting the stage for a series of complications. As Monita struggles to keep her boxing career and boyfriend a secret from Martin, he attempts to convince Constanza that there is nothing between him and Monita. However, their growing affection for each other becomes increasingly difficult to conceal.
