Ma and Pa Kettle at Waikiki (1953) follows the Kettle family as they embark on a journey to the beautiful islands of Hawaii. The family, consisting of Ma, Pa, and their daughter Rosie, are summoned by cousin Rodney to assist in managing his struggling pineapple plantation while he recuperates from an illness. However, Pa's well-meaning but clumsy efforts lead to a significant mishap, resulting in a major explosion. This incident sets off a chain of events that culminates in Pa being unexpectedly kidnapped, adding a layer of chaos and adventure to their Hawaiian vacation.
