Phyllis (TV Series) (1975) follows the journey of Phyllis Lindstrom, the former landlady of Mary Richards from the beloved "Mary Tyler Moore" series. After the unexpected passing of her husband, Lars, Phyllis decides to relocate to her hometown of San Francisco with her teenage daughter, Bess. Seeking a fresh start, Phyllis moves in with Lars' eccentric mother, Audrey, and Audrey's second husband, Judge Dexter. To support herself and her daughter, Phyllis secures a new position as an assistant to Julie Erskine, the CEO of a prominent photography studio. The series chronicles Phyllis' efforts to rebuild her life and navigate the challenges that come with her new environment and responsibilities.
