The Desert of the Lost (1927) follows the thrilling journey of Jim Drake, who, after being pursued by Detective Murray and his posse, crosses the border into Mexico to seek refuge. Injured and in need of respite, Drake finds solace with the Wolfe family. However, when Murray reappears, Drake ventures into the unforgiving desert. Tragically, during the night, his guide abandons him, leaving Drake stranded without water or his horse, setting the stage for a harrowing survival story.
