Run for the Roses (1977) follows the journey of Juanito, a young boy from Puerto Rico who finds himself in the heart of Kentucky. Captivated by a magnificent thoroughbred horse, Juanito becomes convinced that this equine has the potential to triumph in the prestigious Kentucky Derby. As his belief grows, so does the faith of those around him, who begin to see the possibility of victory.
