Bank Under Siege (2024) is a gripping 5-episode series set in Barcelona on May 23, 1981. Just three months after the failed coup d'état at the Congress of Deputies in Spain, a group of eleven masked individuals storm the Central Bank's headquarters. What initially appears to be a daring heist quickly escalates into a significant threat to Spain's fledgling democracy. The robbers take over 200 hostages and issue a chilling ultimatum: release Colonel Tejero and three other key figures from the 23F coup, or face the consequences.
