I Dutifully Report (Beg To Report, Sir) (1958) follows the comedic misadventures of Lieutenant Lukas and his loyal soldier Schweik as they journey towards Ceske Budejovice. The story kicks off with an unexpected halt when Schweik, along with a train conductor, inadvertently activates the emergency brake. At the Tabor station, Schweik faces a fine for the train delay, but a benevolent stranger steps in to pay the penalty and provides Schweik with funds for a new ticket. However, Schweik's good fortune takes a turn when he spends the money on alcohol. Consequently, he is forced to continue his journey to Budejovice on foot, encountering a series of absurd and humorous situations along the way.
