Just Walking (Sólo quiero caminar) (2008) follows Aurora, who is incarcerated for a botched heist, while her accomplices Ana, Gloria, and Paloma remain at large. Aurora's sister, Ana, turns to prostitution and accepts a marriage proposal from Félix, a wealthy but violent Mexican drug lord. Ana moves to Mexico with Félix, and soon invites Gloria to join her, promising a better life. Upon Aurora's release, she and Paloma travel to Mexico to reunite with Ana and Gloria. However, Ana's life with Félix is far from idyllic, as his alcoholism and violence trap her in a gilded cage. Ana devises a plan to secure a large sum of money and exact revenge on Félix, which is the true motive behind inviting her friends to Mexico. The four women collaborate to execute a scheme that could change their fortunes forever.
