TekWar: The Original Movie (TV) (1994) follows Jake Cardigan as he is abruptly revived from a 15-year cryogenic sentence after just four years, only to find a world drastically altered by the pervasive influence of 'Tek,' a highly addictive electronic drug. His wife has left him, taking their son, and he is determined to reunite his family and seek vengeance for the undercover officers killed by unknown conspirators, leading to his wrongful imprisonment. Teaming up with his former partner, Sid Gomez, now also an ex-cop, they are hired by the enigmatic Bascom, head of the powerful Cosmos security corporation. Their initial assignment appears straightforward: locate a missing scientist who may have created a crystal capable of destroying Tek chips. However, as they delve deeper, they encounter formidable and shadowy forces orchestrated by the clandestine Tek lords, who will stop at nothing to protect their interests.
