Children of Pleasure (1930) follows the story of a prosperous songwriter who becomes infatuated with a society girl who is merely toying with his affections. Meanwhile, he fails to recognize the genuine love that his loyal assistant, a girl Friday, holds for him. As he becomes enthralled by the allure of high society, he overhears the society girl confessing that she was only playing with his emotions, just in time to prevent a disastrous marriage.
