Neposlushnaya (2023) follows the journey of Elya, a determined 20-year-old student aspiring to be an ecologist. Her world collides with Matvey, the influential head of a construction firm, when he visits her university to discuss a development project on the site of an old forest park. Elya, unyielding in her convictions, vehemently opposes his plans. Intrigued by her resolve, Matvey attempts to sway her with his usual tactics, offering financial support. However, Elya remains steadfast, refusing his sponsorship. In a surprising turn, Matvey proposes a wager: seven romantic days under his conditions. If Elya still chooses to leave, he will abandon the construction project. Elya agrees, especially when Matvey halts the design work. Elya envisions herself as a modern-day heroine from "Pretty Woman," but Matvey's true nature reveals itself to be far different from her initial perceptions.
