Fantastic Four (Fantastic 4) (TV Series) (2006) is an animated television series inspired by the Marvel Comics' Fantastic Four comic book series. This series marks the team's fourth animated adventure, blending two-dimensional art with three-dimensional computer animation, produced by the French animation studio Moonscoop. In the United States, the show faced an inconsistent broadcast schedule on Cartoon Network. It debuted as part of Toonami on September 2, 2006, but only 7 of the season's 26 episodes were aired before it was abruptly removed without explanation. The series returned to the network on June 9, 2007, coinciding with the release of the film "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer," but only 11 additional episodes were shown, leaving 8 episodes unaired in the USA. Currently, it can be viewed on the Boomerang Network at 11:30 PM Eastern Time on Saturdays.
