The Silver Treasure (1926) follows the story of Nostromo, a dedicated foreman overseeing a group of longshoremen in a South American Republic. Their task is to secure and transport a valuable shipment of silver from the San Tome mine. Meanwhile, a cunning gang led by Sotillo schemes to intercept and steal the precious cargo. Anticipating the threat, Nostromo devises a clever strategy to thwart the bandits. He intercepts the silver train far from the main route and transfers the shipment to a large wagon, guiding it through back alleys to the dock. Nostromo and his crew remain with the train, engaging in a fierce battle with the outlaws. Upon reaching the wharf, Nostromo grapples with the temptation to claim the silver as lost and keep it for himself, leading to an intense internal struggle between his ambition and his moral compass.
