Welcome to the Occult Forest: The Movie (2022) follows the journey of a once-renowned horror film director, Kôji Kuroishi, portrayed by Kôji Shiraishi, and his assistant director, Miho Ichikawa, as they venture into a secluded mountain house to shoot a new film. Upon their arrival, they encounter a disturbed woman named Maria Miyoshi, who surprisingly reveals herself to be an admirer of Kuroishi's past work.
