The Night of the Hunted (1980) unfolds on a chilling, moonless night as a mysterious blonde woman, Elisabeth (Brigitte Lahaie), is spotted darting through the dense woods. Elisabeth has managed to break free from a towering, secure facility where individuals, affected by a catastrophic environmental incident, are confined. The contamination gradually erodes their cognitive functions, emotions, and memories, transforming them into desolate, defenseless beings. A compassionate young man (Vincent Carder) becomes enamored with Elisabeth and endeavors to assist her in her daring escape. However, the facility's enforcers are relentless and will stop at nothing to recapture their fugitive.
