Sarajevo (TV) (2014) is set in 1914, a time of growing unrest in Europe. The Austro-Hungarian Empire is grappling with rebellious provinces, with Serbia being one of the most troublesome. Despite knowing the risks, Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie decide to travel through Sarajevo in an open car, leading to their tragic assassination. The culprits, Bosnian-Serbian nationalists Princip and Cabrinovic, are swiftly identified. Dr. Leo Pfeffer, a magistrate, is tasked by the authorities to validate the narrative that the Serbian government orchestrated the attacks.
