The Wizard of Oz (1939) follows the journey of Dorothy, a young girl living on a farm in Kansas, whose life takes an extraordinary turn when a powerful cyclone sweeps her, her house, and her loyal dog, Toto, into the magical land of Oz. Upon arrival, Dorothy encounters a world filled with wonder and peculiarity. Despite the enchanting surroundings, Dorothy's heart yearns to return home. She receives guidance from the benevolent Good Witch of the North, but her path is fraught with danger, particularly from the malevolent Wicked Witch of the West. The witch seeks retribution for the demise of her sister, the Wicked Witch of the East, whom Dorothy inadvertently caused to perish.
