Immigration Game (2016) unfolds in a parallel 2016 where Germany has closed its borders to refugees. The sole pathway to securing a residence permit is through the widely viewed online and television spectacle known as "Immigration Game." Contestants, referred to as 'Runners,' are released on the outskirts of Berlin and must navigate their way to the television tower at Alexanderplatz. Each German citizen is given the opportunity to pursue and eliminate the refugees without facing any legal repercussions, all for a substantial cash reward.
