The Counterfeit Contessa (TV) (1994) follows the story of Gina Nardino, a young saleswoman working at the food counter of an upscale department store. She becomes infatuated with a wealthy and charming man from high society. Through a chain of unexpected events, Gina manages to captivate him by assuming the false identity of an Italian contessa. However, her deception starts to spiral out of control when the man's brother sees through her disguise and finds himself drawn to her genuine charm.
