Ingrid Goes West (2017) follows the story of Ingrid, portrayed by Aubrey Plaza, who develops an intense fixation on Taylor Sloane, a social media influencer played by Elizabeth Olsen, who appears to have an idyllic life. Ingrid's infatuation leads her to abruptly relocate to the West Coast with the intention of forming a friendship with Taylor.
