Flight Into Darkness (1935) is a cinematic tale originally titled "L’équipage," which was captured on film in 1935 and later released in the United States in 1938. The movie capitalized on the recent nuptials of its leading actress, Annabella, to Hollywood heartthrob Tyrone Power. Annabella portrays Mme. Maurey, the wife of an older aviator, played by Charles Vanel. While her husband is engaged in daring aerial adventures, Mme. Maurey finds herself drawn to the charms of the younger and handsome Capitane Thelis, played by Jean Murat. Despite his deep affection for the heroine, Thelis strives to maintain his loyalty to his friend, Maurey.
