Country of Blind (2023) follows the journey of Abhimanyu, a skilled mountain climber who stumbles upon an enigmatic and secluded community of people who have not seen for countless generations. This isolated society, untouched by the outside world for fifteen generations, presents a unique challenge to Abhimanyu. Initially, he believes that his ability to see will grant him power and influence, echoing the phrase "in the country of the blind, the one-eyed man is king." However, his attempts to assert dominance backfire, leading to his entrapment within this peculiar world. The film is inspired by H.G. Wells' 1904 short story of the same name.
