Shazam! (2019) follows the journey of Billy Batson, a 14-year-old foster kid who gains the ability to transform into a powerful superhero by uttering a single word. This transformation is granted by an ancient wizard, allowing Billy to become the adult superhero Shazam. With his newfound powers, Billy, now in a godlike body, explores the limits of his abilities with the carefree enthusiasm of a teenager. He tests his flying skills, X-ray vision, and lightning powers, all while enjoying the perks of being a superhero. However, Billy must quickly learn to control his powers to face the sinister forces led by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana, who seeks to harness the same magical abilities for his own nefarious purposes.
