The Plague of the Zombies (1966) unfolds in a small Cornish village plagued by a baffling outbreak that claims the lives of young workers. Dr. Thompson, at a loss, seeks the expertise of Professor James Forbes. Accompanied by his daughter Sylvia, the professor arrives to investigate. Soon, eerie events transpire, defying logic and reality. Corpses are spotted near an abandoned mine, and the deceased appear to regain life. Professor Forbes suspects dark sorcery and an individual wielding immense power. Unbeknownst to him, the reanimated dead are controlled by a sinister voodoo ritual, compelled to serve their master as mindless zombies.
