Food & Shelter (2015) follows the story of Rocío, a single mother who is currently unemployed and facing significant challenges in providing for her daily food needs. Her life is further complicated by the fear of losing custody of her eight-year-old son, Adrian. The situation takes a dire turn when the landlord of her rented apartment, who is also struggling with debts, reports her to the police for failing to pay the rent. With time running out and no apparent solution in sight, Rocío finds herself in a desperate struggle to secure both food and shelter for herself and her son.
