Monkeys, Go Home! (1967) follows the journey of Henry Dussard, a young American who takes over a charming yet rundown olive farm in the south of France after inheriting it. Despite warnings from the local priest and a charming local woman, Henry is resolute in his mission to restore the farm to its former glory. In a stroke of genius, Henry hires an unusual team of laborers to help with the olive harvest—four clever monkeys who were once part of an Air Force space program. These intelligent chimps swiftly adapt to their new roles, but their antics cause quite a stir among the townspeople, leading to a series of hilarious and unpredictable events.
