The Halfback of Notre Dame (TV) (1996) follows the story of Notre Dame High School's football coach, Les Modeau, who includes his son, affectionately known as Crazy, on the team. Despite being a gentle giant often teased by his peers, Crazy is a thoughtful and talented individual with a hidden artistic side. His life takes an unexpected turn when he develops feelings for Esmeralda, the girlfriend of the star quarterback, who has recently moved to town from France.
