Alfred Hitchcock Presents: The Crystal Trench (TV) (1959) follows the harrowing journey of Stella Ballister (Patricia Owens), who is devastated to learn of her husband's tragic death during a mountain climbing expedition. In the aftermath, Stella requests the recovery of her husband's remains, but the mission is thwarted when the body plunges into an inaccessible crevasse. Decades later, Stella, still grappling with the loss, discovers that the glacier has shifted. She assembles a team to retrieve her husband's body from the ice, only to find it remarkably preserved, allowing her one final glimpse of her beloved.
