Mask of Murder (1985) unfolds in a tranquil Canadian village, where a series of brutal murders has left the local women in a state of terror. The enigmatic killer, a psychopath, has been eluding the authorities, leaving Chief Rich and Inspector McLane baffled. The investigation takes a dramatic turn when Inspector McLane shoots a man who was acting suspiciously. Initially, it seems as though the killings have ceased, but the respite is short-lived. The killer, still at large, strikes again, claiming another innocent victim and plunging the village back into a state of fear and uncertainty.
