Patch Town (2014) follows the journey of Jon, a toy who, after being cherished in a loving home, finds himself abandoned and betrayed by his adoptive mother. He is forced to return to a monotonous life as a factory worker. With each new creation, Jon reminiscences about the happier times when he was loved and cared for. Jon uncovers a sinister plot involving Yuri, a malevolent child catcher, who has discovered the theft of a newborn baby from the factory. Driven by the need to protect his own family, Jon embarks on a perilous journey to escape the oppressive city and secure a safe haven for his wife and child. As Jon and Mary find moments of safety and a sense of home, Jon grapples with the dilemma of whether to save the mother he has always yearned for or prioritize the well-being of his own family.
