Rumbos paralelos (2016) follows the intertwined lives of two mothers, Gaby and Silvia, whose worlds are upended when they discover that their children, Fer and Diego, were mistakenly switched at birth. The revelation comes as a shock, especially since Diego is battling a serious kidney disease. Silvia successfully gains custody of Fer through a legal battle, leaving Diego with Gaby. In a desperate bid to save Diego's life, Gaby embarks on a quest to find his biological father, adding layers of complexity and emotional turmoil to their already challenging situation.
