Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith (2005) unfolds after an extended period of intense conflict, as the Clone Wars draw to a close. The Jedi Council tasks Obi-Wan Kenobi with apprehending General Grievous, the formidable commander of the Separatist droid forces. Concurrently, on the bustling planet of Coruscant, Chancellor Palpatine's influence expands, reshaping the Republic into the formidable Galactic Empire. Palpatine shares his true power and the hidden mysteries of the Force with his trusted confidant, Anakin Skywalker, aiming to entice him to the dark side. The Sith, ancient adversaries of the Jedi, were nearly eradicated a millennium ago but have persisted in secrecy, operating in pairs—a Master and an Apprentice—awaiting the opportune moment to seize control of the galaxy. In this climactic episode, the Sith finally enact their long-awaited vengeance against the Jedi.
