Legacy (TV) (2013) is set in 1974, during a time of national crisis in Britain marked by rolling strikes and power cuts. The story follows MI6 trainee spy Charles Thoroughgood, who is tasked with recruiting his former university friend, Russian diplomat Viktor Koslov, to the British cause. However, Koslov turns the tables and exposes hidden truths about Charles' family background, thrusting him into a perilous journey to uncover the truth. As Charles delves deeper, he becomes entangled in a deadly KGB scheme aimed at launching an attack within the UK and is drawn to the wife of a superior officer.
