Dragon Ball Z Special 2008 - Yo! The Return of Son Goku and Friends!! (2008) takes place two years after the defeat of Majin Buu in the main Dragon Ball Z series. Mr. Satan, feeling a sense of guilt for the misplaced credit he received for defeating Majin Buu, hosts a grand banquet at his newly constructed hotel to honor the Z Fighters and their families. The celebration is abruptly interrupted when two Saiyan spaceships descend near the town. A mysterious Saiyan, later revealed to be Vegeta's long-lost brother Tarble, arrives seeking help. Tarble explains that remnants of Frieza's army, Abo and Cado, are wreaking havoc on his planet. As Abo and Cado land, the Z Fighters draw lots to determine who will face them. Goten and Trunks are chosen for the battle. Initially, the young warriors struggle against the formidable foes, but they eventually fuse into Aka, a powerful entity that poses a significant threat.
