An Orchid for the Tiger (Our Agent Tiger) (1965) follows the thrilling escapades of Louis Rapiere, also known as Tiger, who is dispatched to Port-a-Pitre in French Guyana to oversee the retrieval of a valuable treasure from a submerged vessel. Adding to his challenges, he must contend with spies from the United States, Russia, and Germany, all vying for the treasure—a rare mineral with immense implications for military advancements.
