What We Do in the Shadows (2014) delves into the everyday struggles of Viago (Taika Waititi), Deacon (Jonathan Brugh), and Vladislav (Jemaine Clement), three roommates navigating the challenges of immortality as vampires. Despite their centuries-old existence, these vampires face contemporary issues such as paying rent, managing household chores, and dealing with social conflicts. Beyond the typical vampire struggles like sunlight exposure and finding suitable attire without reflections, they must also contend with the complexities of modern life, including clubbing and interpersonal disputes among themselves.
