Switch (2007) follows the journey of Mikkel, a 15-year-old who enjoys a vibrant life in Oslo with his mother and a close-knit group of friends, spending most of his time on a skateboard. However, when his mother secures a new job, Mikkel is uprooted and forced to relocate to a small village. In this new environment, skateboarding is no longer the cool sport; snowboarding has taken its place. To gain acceptance among the local youth, Mikkel must adapt and take up snowboarding. Complicating matters further, he finds himself falling for the girlfriend of the village's top snowboarder, adding an extra layer of challenge to his new life.
