Gun Crazy (1950) follows the life of Bart Tare, a man with an enduring fascination for firearms since his youth. Post his military service, Bart's companions introduce him to a carnival, where he encounters Annie, a skilled sharpshooter who shares his passion for guns. The two quickly fall in love, tie the knot, and embark on a journey together. However, Annie's dissatisfaction with their financial status leads them to embark on a series of audacious robberies across the country. Bart, who has always avoided using guns for lethal purposes, finds himself spiraling into a dark abyss due to Annie's avaricious and violent tendencies.
