The Junior Olsen Gang Rocks It (2004) is a vibrant film set in Oslo during the swinging sixties. When the newly launched TV channel NRK announces a talent contest with a substantial prize of 50,000 kroner, the mischievous Olsenbanden Junior sees an opportunity they can't resist. They form a band called "The Dynamites" to enter the competition. However, they encounter formidable rivals, including Biffen's band "The Biffers" and the talented pianist Herman. Despite the challenges, "The Dynamites" manage to secure victory. Their triumph catches the eye of Pop-Johansen, who envisions turning them into international rockstars, setting the stage for an exciting journey to America.
