Kurt and Valde (1983) follows the misadventures of two hapless individuals, Kurt and Valde, portrayed by Lars Knutson and Arne Hansen respectively. These two unlucky characters appear to be perpetually stumbling through life, often finding themselves in absurd situations that border on farce. They have a habit of evading hotel bills as they travel from one location to another. Their lives take an unexpected turn when they are mistakenly identified as the associates of an inventor who has recently met an untimely end in an explosion. The inventor had been working on a groundbreaking formula for synthetic gasoline, which he intended to hand over to the authorities before his unfortunate demise. Now, Kurt and Valde are believed to possess this valuable formula, setting off a frantic pursuit as various parties seek to obtain it.
