Exit (1996) begins with a botched burglary at a strip club, where one of the three intruders fatally shoots a man who pulls out a gun. This leads to the trio seizing the dancers and patrons as hostages. The decision of the robbers to not flee immediately after the shooting is puzzling. The hostages manage to escape and conceal themselves in the club's refrigerator, highlighting the ineptitude of the criminals. Meanwhile, the police outside are equally baffled, standing idly as one of the freed strippers ventures back into an unusually large ventilation system. With the aid of an ex-cop trapped inside the club, she successfully rescues the hostages.
